Q:What is the difference between nylon insert lock nut and regular hex nut?

A:Nylon lock nut contains a nylon ring inside. After tightening, the nylon clamps bolt threads to create friction, preventing loosening under vibration. Widely used on automotive, motors, solar brackets. 
Limitation: Not suitable for continuous working temperature over 120℃. 
Standard hex nuts have NO anti-vibration function.

Q:When should I choose serrated flange nuts?

A:The integrated flange increases bearing surface; bottom serrations bite into metal surface to prevent slipping and rotation, saving flat washers.

Q:What are T-nuts used for?
